A group of scientists has launched a yearly report series to provide more up-to-date information on climate change, filling the gaps between the lengthy reports produced by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The first report, published in June, revealed that human-induced warming reached 1.26 degrees Celsius in 2022 and increased at an unprecedented rate.
